He received the B.Eng. degree in automation from Northeastern University of China in 2013, where he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in control theory and engineering. Since September 2015, he visited University of Denver as a joint-training Ph.D. student, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). He also works as an intern students at the National Wind Technology Center of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden, USA. His research interests include applications of advanced controls in wind turbine system, and power system transient stability related to large-scale wind power integrations.

He received the B.Eng. degree and the M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China, in 2010 and 2014. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. His current research interests include distributed power system, applications of machine learning in power system, networked control, microgrid, energy storage system and renewable energy

He received his B. Eng. from the Instituto Tecnologico de Orizaba, M.Sc. from the Facultad de Ingenieria Electrica, UMSNH, Morelia, Mexico in 2007 and 2012, respectively. His research interests include power systems and distributed generation systems based on renewable energy. Currently, he is doing a research stay with Ph.D. David Gao at the University of Denver and Ph.D. Eduard Muljadi at National Renewable Energy Laboratory about the estimation of inertia of wind plant based in Synchrophasor Measurement.
